Eclipse Product Development Corp. congratulates our friends at Teleflex Medical for winning a 2018 Bronze Medical Design Excellence Award in the Cardiovascular Device category for the AC3 Optimus Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump cart system. The device provides hemodynamic support on the go and must withstand the challenges of reliable, lifesaving operation on medevac helicopters as well as ambulances. We’re honored that our work on this project– which included design research, industrial design, human factors engineering, and product engineering– was recognized by one of the world’s most respected and competitive design competitions.
